Considered one of the originators of shred guitar, American guitarist and a member of the British hard rock band UFO, Vincent "Vinnie" Moore was studying jazz guitar with Pat Martino, recorded his first solo album, Mind's Eye (1986), featuring Tony MacAlpine on keyboards. In 1985 he played lead guitar with the heavy metal band Vicious Rumors. Soon later Moore joined Alice Cooper's band for a tour and recorded on the Hey Stoopid (1991) album. Since June 2003, Moore has been the lead guitarist for the R&B group UFO. Up to 2016 Vinnie recorded 5 albums with UFO.
