Christophe Dejour

Christophe Dejour was born in Copenhagen in 1968. He began studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 1985, receiving his diploma as a music teacher in 1992 and made his début at the Library Hall of the Round Tower, Copenhagen, in 1995.

In 1989 he went to Paris to study at the 'Ecole Normale de Musique' with Professor Alberto Ponce. Furthermore, he has received further education at several master classes with famous musicians such as Julian Bream, Göran Söllscher, John Mills and Milan Zelenka. As a musician, Christophe Dejour performs both as a solo recitalist and a chamber musician. For instance, he has played the first performance of many Danish composers' works at recitals in Denmark and abroad. He has also participated in radio performances and CD recordings, some of them with new Danish music. At the same time as having his concert activities, he has worked as an arranger of music on several occasions; among other things he arranged music for the theatre. Christophe Dejour has appeared on radio and live on Télévision.
