Laweeyum

I began my musical life on trumpet and played professionally for many years since childhood, then walked away from it all in JAN, 2011. (I have 8 albums worth of music [as a leader] available on itunes) The trumpet carried me through the first half of my career and after laying it down, am continuing on to the second leg of that journey with the guitar.
I started out on acoustic guitar when I was 15 and bought my 1st axe, a Yamaha FG-110 with my lawn-mowing money. It would remain in the shadow of my trumpet until the millenium, when I started planning my escape from the trumpet world.
I am a true musical/artistic survivor and have managed to avoid convention most of my career and I will still take art over commerce today.
