Oscar Méndez is a sound engineer, musician and guitar instructor born on June 13,1987. Known for introducing modern fingerstyle guitar in Colombia, his music is a mix of different styles using modern fingerstyle concepts. He has performed at Festival de Guitarra Internacional en Cartagena, Festival Guitar Masters (Medellín), Winter NAMM 2017 – 2018 (Los Angeles,CA), Colombia Fingerstyle Guitar Tour (Los Angeles,Sacramento,San Francisco,CA), Zihuafest 2019 (MEX). He also is supported by Takamine Guitars (Japan),Fretmonkey Records (USA), Music Area Cases (China), Amumu Ukuleles (China).
