Anton Glushkin

Anton Glushkin is a Russian guitarist. He was born in 1986 in Taganrog. He’s been playing the guitar since he was eight. He started his musical education at the first musical school in Taganrog at the course of Serduk V.V. After school Anton won the admission to the school for the gifted children related to the Rostov State conservatory n.a. S.V. Rachmaninov at the course of Michaylov D.A. In the 2003 he entered the Rostov State conservatory n.a. S.V. Rachmaninov at the course of the People’s Artist of Russia, professor A.S. Danilov. Anton Glushkin is the winner of International competitions as a solo player and in the composition of ensembles. Also he’s got the scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation and the winner or the national project “Obrazovanie” Education While he was studying at the conservatory, besides solo performances Anton participated in two ensembles – “Duo Sonore” (which produced two discs) and the quartet “24 strings”, which won the first prize at the international competition “Tabula Rasa” (Volgograd, 2007) and the International competition “The Guitar +” (Odessa, 2008).
