Flamenco Guitar Portraits - Pepe Habichuela

Pepe Pepe Habichuela (Granada, 1944) is the stage name of Antonio Carmona flamenco guitarist José Carmona. It belongs to a dynasty begun by his grandfather Flemish who took the nickname and continued by his father Joseph and his brother Juan Carmona Habichuela.

His artistic beginnings took place in Granada. In 1964 he moved to Madrid where he performed in several flamenco shows and shared the stage with artists such as Juanito Valderrama, Camarón de la Isla and Enrique Morente
