Barney Kessel - Here's That Rainy Day

Barney Kessel (1923 – 2004) was exceptional jazz guitarist with vast knowledge of chords and inversions and chord-based melodies, considered as one of few guitarists who pioneered jazz as an art form.
We may only regret that he's not living in our time.
In the 1970s and 1980s, Mr. Kessel, Charlie Byrd and Herb Ellis formed the touring group the "Great Guitars" and performed jazz standards. This recording is from such tour in "Stadthalle", Leonberg (Germany), April 24, 1988
