John Pisano is one of most respected artists on New York's jazz scene and recorded with Burt Bacharach, Tony Bennett, Herb Alpert, Natalie Cole, Michael Franks, Diana Krall, Peggy Lee, Julie London, Joe Pass, Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand.

He has been based in Los Angeles since the early 1960's. Great musician and teacher. I had the pleasure to be in in his Commercial guitar classes when he taught at Los Angeles Valley College in the early 1980's. There we would Also bring in guest guitarists such as Tommy Tedesco, Lee Ritenour, Lenny Breau, Phil Upchurch and many others. I understand he now teaches at Cal State Northridge University.
