Most jazz fans surely know who is Pat Martino, so few words about Charlie Christian, guitarist.
He gained national fame as a member of the Benny Goodman Sextet with Lionel Hampton, Fletcher Henderson, Artie Bernstein and Nick Fatool. He is considered to be key figure in the development of bebop and cool jazz on electric guitar.
In 1990, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
