Another great example of acoustic arrangement of one of greatest Jimi Hendrix songs ever. Arranged and performed by Eric Talon, guitarist and luthier of www.lightandblueguitars.com.
Blues song "Little Wing" was written and first time recorded by Hendrix in 1967. He mentioned this is his favourite song from "Axis: Bold as Love" album. He once said "Everybody really flying and they’s really in a nice mood"
Well, it's hard to count how many times "Little Wing" was covered only by those serious artists. Let's name only few: Steve Lukather, Eric Clpaton, Allman Brothers, Steve Ray Vaughan, Sting, The Corrs, John Mayer, Santana, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Monte Montgomory.
Possibly covers by those artists are best remembered.
