American jazz-rock guitarist and composer, John Scofield collaborated with many renown jazz musicians, such as Dave Liebman, Joe Henderson, Charles Mingus, Joey Defrancesco, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, Pat Martino, Billy Cobham, George Duke, Jaco Pastorius.
In 1982 he joined Miles Davis band for three and a half years. Video recording is from Miles Davis Live at Montreal Festival 1985, and was released on Miles "Decoy" 1984 album.
