David Ovejero - Tribute to Wes Montgomery

Original piece composed by David Ovejero as a tribute to the great Wes Montgomery.
After almost 50 years from death of jazz guitar genius Wes Montgomery, he remains inspiration for almost every aspiring jazz guitarist.
Montgomery instead of using a guitar pick, plucked the strings with his thumb, using downstrokes for single notes and a combination of upstrokes and downstrokes for chords and octaves.
Interesting story is that Wes developed this technique to play more quietly by using his thumb only to keep neighbors from complaining while he was practicing in the night.
