Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars, also known as Corcovado is a bossa nova song written by Antonio Carlos Jobim in 1960 with lyrics by Gene Lees. Many of giant jazz muscians used to perform it pretty often including Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra.
Corcovado with Potuguese lyrics is best known from Joao and Astrud Gilberto versions.
Also many guitarists used to arrange and perform this famous piece for solo guitar, such as Charlie Byrd, Joe Pass, Grant Green, Laurindo Almeida and many more.
