Kenny Burrell - In a Mellow Tone

The best and the only 1994 video of such quality with Kenny Burrell trio playing in 1994 Duke Ellington's jazz standard "In a Mellow Tone", written in 1939. Kenny Burrell is one of most notable jazz guitarists ever. He has recorded a number of Ellington's works and was called "favorite guitarist" by Duke. In late '90s Burrell was very active musician and has recorded over 100 albums with a wide range of prominent musicians and own groups. Since 1996, Burrell has served as Director of Jazz Studies at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
