The song Don't was originally written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller for Elvis Presley, recorded by Elvis in 1957. Leiber and Stoller wrote for Presley also such songs as "Love Me" (1956), "Jailhouse Rock" (1957), "Loving You" and "King Creole".
David Gilmour, former member of Pink Floyd group performed this song during Leiber-Stoller Tribute concert in June 2001.
Leiber and Stoller were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1985 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
