Famous song written first and recorded by Carole King in 1971, better known from version by James Taylor recorded on his album Mud Slide Slim same year. "You've Got a Friend" won Grammy in Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance (James Taylor) categories. Covered by number of notable artists including Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Gloria Estefan, Dusty Springfield, Michael Jackson, Anne Murray Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway.
