Chopin: Nocturne op 9 no 2 on 8-string guitar

Gonzalo Manrique Vallier playing transcription of Chopin's Nocturne op 9 no 2 on 8-string guitar by Anton Fischer, Vienna c. 1845. Born in Lima, Peru, Gonzalo Manrique studied with Oscar Zamora at the National Conservatory of Music in Peru and with Brigitte Zaczek at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He was awarded a prize at the 2nd International Abel Carlevaro Competition and plays regularly around the world, both solo and with chamber music groups. He's a member of Los Ungaros guitar trio founded in Vienna in 2006, next to Hungarian guitarists Lajos Horváth and László Szabó.
