Yamandu Costa celebrates 100 birth of Garoto

One more fabulous performance by Yamandu Costa during " Genius of the Strings" concert - recorded to celebrate 100 birth of Garoto in September 2016, Paulo Autran Theater, SESC Pinheiros, São Paulo.
Garoto was the stage name of Annibal Augusto Sardinha (1915-1955), talented Brazilian guitarist and composer from Rio de Janeiro, precursor to bossa nova, who influenced next generation of Brazilian musicians, such as Carlos Lyra, João Gilberto, Raphael Rabello, Baden Powell and Yamandu Costa of course.
Other musicians who participated this special evening were Com Guinga, Henrique Cazes, Marcello Gonçalves, Caixa Cubo Trio (Henrique Gomide, Noa Stroeter e João Fideles), Moderna Tradição (Izaías Bueno de Almeida, Israel Bueno de Almeida, Benjamim Taubkin, Lula Alencar e Ari Colares), Xênia França e Guilherme Held.
