Ulf & Eric Wakenius - Father and Son

"Father and Son" is the title of the album released on April 28, 2017 by renown Swedish jazz guitarist Ulf Wakenius and his son Eric. Ulf is very experienced world class jazz guitarist who cooperated with such big names in jazz as Oscar Petersona, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock and many more. His son Eric, is just staring his career, though he already appeared on his famous father's prevvious albums.
Father and son play acoustic guitars with sublime delicacy and swing, taking on material ranging from jazz standards to Baby Boomer pop. Album's title track is original interpretation of the classic Cat Stevens thoughtful song. Each next tune is very different in style, from Weather Report’s classic “Birdland,” delicious interplay on soft pieces such as “Scarborough Fair” and Lennon/McCatrney's “Eleanor Rigby” that you can watch in video.
