Christie Lenée - Chasing Infinity

Chasing Infinity is the song from 2013 album under same title by extremely talented American guitarist, singer and songwriter, Christie Lenée. Christie has been performing since very early age of 4. Around the same time she started to play piano. As a young girl ahe was already making a career in acting, musical theatre and television. At age 12 she got her first guitar and started to learn it by ear, playing along to Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Green Day and Nirvana Records. She was practicing extremely difficult classical guitar pieces, technique and exercises 8 hours per day. She was studying in both classical and jazz and very fast she received several Awards in Classical Guitar Competitions. She joined the High School Jazz Band playing rock, jazz and blues. She attended the University of South Florida as a Jazz Guitar Performance major, then continued as a double major in Classical Music Composition. In Christie’s senior year she discovered Dave Matthews, Joni Mitchell, and the acoustic guitar. Tapping guitar style led Christie into writing a full collection of instrumental pieces, which were released in 2013 on her instrumental album “Chasing Infinity.”
