Paul McCartney plays Jimi Hendrix

You will not find Paul McCartney listed on any serious rank of guitarists. First of all he's recognized as a member of the Betales, most influential group in the history of pop music. Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, initially bass player for the Beatles. He has written, or co-written, 32 songs that have reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
But this doesn't mean that McCartney cannot play electric guitar, that he avoids top guitar riffs, including those by most influential blues-rock guitarist, Jimi Hendrix.
Just watch Paul playing famous song "Foxy Lady" from Jimi Hendrix 1967 debut album Are You Experienced. It was at New York City's Citi Field, July 2009 during McCartney's Summer Live '09 concert tour.
