One could say "Just another good looking young girl with nice voice". But Molly Turtle is also flatpicking, clawhammer and cross-picking guitar virtuoso, chosen the "Guitarist of the Year" by International Bluegrass Music Association. She was the the first woman ever to win this award in 2017.
Molly began to play guitar at age 8, and 3 years later she joined on stage her father Jack Tuttle, a bluegrass multi-instrumentalist and instructor. in 2014 Molly was studying at the Berklee College of Music and joined the all-female bluegrass group the Goodbye Girls. In 2015 Molly moved from Boston to Nashville and after a crowdfunding campaign in 2017 she released "Rise" EP with 7 original songs including "You Didn't Call My Name" that you can hear and watch in video.
