Erlend Krauser (nickname: Erly Krauser) is former member of the Romanian rock band Phoenix founded in 1962 in Timisoara. Erlend was born into German musical family, his father being a professional musician, a member of the Banat Philharmonic and a professor at the music high school, his younger brother Dieter Krauser is bass player. Erlend's grandmother was summer with actor Johnny Weissmüller, the character of Tarzan.
InIn 1977 Erlend Krauser and his family moved from Romania to Germany andsince 1992 he is a member of James Last Orchestra since 1992.
