Romero Lumbabo - Wave (Jobim)

Leading Brazilian jazz guitarist Romero Lumbabo and his Trio da Paz performed at JazzBaltica 2007. Until 2011, was held every summer in Schloss Salzau (Salzau Palace) near Kiel, Germany, and the coast of the Baltic Sea.
Romero Lumbabo grew up in Rio de Janeiro attended the Villa-Lobos School of Music to study classical guitar. After moving to the United States in 1985 initially he worked with singer Astrud Gilberto. Soon he formed Trio da Paz with Duduka da Fonseca on drums and Nilson Matta on bass and this is the line-up presented at JazzBaltica 2007.
