A Boat Lies Waiting is the 4th track from the fourth solo studio album by Pink Floyd singer and guitarist David Gilmour. Part of this song dates back to the mid-1990s when David played rolling pianofrom the second half of that song into a minidisc player a long time ago, before On An Island album.
