Yamandu Costa and Juan Falú

Yamandu teamed up with Juan Falú, Argentinian classical guitarist and composer to perform and record Falú's composition "El cauce y el água". This is not a mystery that Yamandu Costa is one of favourite guitarists here on Veojam. But Juan Falú appears here for the first time. Born in Tucumán in 1948, Falú is a psychoanalyst by profession. During the 70s he was forced into exile after losing his brother, Lucho, to Argentina's notorious "Dirty War. He returned to Buenos Aires in 1983 and began teaching at the Manuel de Falla Music Conservatory. As a guitarist he received multiple awards and continues to perform in solo concerts and with other prominent figures in Argentine folklore.
