INSOUCIANCE - YAMANDU COSTA

This recording has been arranged about one month ago before I landed at the hospital for an unforeseen surgery...
When we experience moments of uncertainty , the inexplicable sensation of relieve and relax coming from the contact with the music is something so helpful and therefore absolutely precious.

"At the beginning of confinement, (Yamandu Costa says), we all felt the therapeutic power of music like never before".
Still in 2020, when the quarantine eased a little and we all started going out, Yamandu took his two children and went to a park close to home , Eduardo VII Park, which is in the center of Lisbon.
Yamandu took his maté, skates, helmets, and of course, the guitar.
Such quiet a melody came to him , very calm and pleasant.... along with a light feeling of tranquility...
Yamandu Costa's father in law , Mr Francis Bouny , who spent the first months of the pandemic with him, had the great idea to name that piece by using a french word : " Insouciance", which means "carefree"…or lighthearted
