This French finest classical guitarist is also one of greatest guitar composers of his generation.

if you're enough particular about details, try to find a song titled "Ta ostatnia niedziela" with music by Polish composer Jerzy Petersburski, written in 1935.
Well, I can bet that this had to be Dyens' main influence to arrange Tango En Sky.

Hard to count how many guitarists attempted to play this composition. It's such a pleasure to watch it performed by composer himself. Such sorrow that we won't see him in new recordings any more. R.I.P. Roland.

Don't know why but I always thought that Dyens is Dutch, while he's French. Whatever he's definitely one of bigget names in the world of classical guitar. This performance of Tango En Sky I really liked much. Not so agressive, great technique. Thank you maestro!

Dyens is the perfect representation of the "contemporary" classical guitarist/ composer. Flawless technique, imaginative compositions - he's got it all. One of the greats of our time!
