Born on the Isle of Man, Manx moved to Europe in the late 1970s, and next to Japan where he lived and performed for 10 years, finally settled on Saltspring Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Manx is touring extensively, however it's always stress for him to leave his wife Najma Manx, and a son, Hector Oswald Manx.
