Dutch violinist and conductor, Adre Rieu is the founder of Johann Strauss Orchestra and his own production company. The Orchestra began in 1987 with 12 members, now they perform with between 80 and 150 musician and touring across all continents.
Rieu is focused is on well known, enjoyable repertoire and is often criticized by journalists> Whatever they say or write the fact is that music presented by Rieu brought joy to millions of people.

I know it sounds gruesome but since the years are passing by faster and faster for me sometimes I wonder what I wish to hear on my own funeral. Basically I was always and still I am jazz music lover, so my first thought was Sammy Cahn's song recorded by Freddie Hubbard in 1969, but then I think this could be too much for mourners and Albinoni's Adagio will be a better choice...
