Costa Rican guitarist and admitted composer Edín Solís together with David Coto (also from Costa Rica) playing piece titled "Paizzolando" in tribute to great Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla.
Edín Solís has been awarded Two Grammy Awards for Best Producer and Engineer for the album “Mundo” and has been awarded as the Best Arranger in the year 2000.
As a guitarist he has performed in such venues as New York’s Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Olimpia in Paris, the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Some of his compositions like "Pasaje Abierto", "Danza" became popularized by Paraguaian classical guitarist Berta Rojas. Recently his new composition "Tambito Josefino" has been featured on Berta Rojas 2013 "Salsa Roja" CD and was filmed with Berta Rojas accompanied by Recycled Instruments Orchestra from Cateura.
