Laurindo Almeida - Choro melancólico

Not many music lovers (especially those younger) remember or know about Laurindo Almeida, jazz/bossanova guitarist and composer from Brasil, one of few Latin guitarists/composers who made international career, playing with such greats as Stan Kenton, Stan Getz, Ray Brown, Baden Powell, Herbie Mann, Larry Coryell, and in Modern Jazz Quartet, who won Grammy Awards for both classical and jazz performances, who performed in films and composed multiple film soundtracks.
