Born in Malaga (1944), second son of Caledonio Romero, Pepe Romero is most respected member of famous Romeros family guitar quartet.
His contribution in classical guitar field, exceptional position among classical guitarists inspired many composers, such as Joaquín Rodrigo, Federico Moreno Torroba, Rev. Francisco de Madina, Lorenzo Palomo, Michael Zearott, and Celedonio Romero to write works specifically for him.
He had appeared in many countries around the world, playing solo and with orchestras at most famous venues . He played for US Presidents Carter and Nixon, for the Queen of the Netherlands, the Prince of Wales and Pope John Paul II.
