His son, Jose de Lucia is also a flamenco musician, like his uncle, father and grandfather.
De Lucia is name after Portuguese mother Lucia Gomes. Paco was the youngest of the five children of Lucia and Antonio Sánchez Pecino, who was also flamenco guitarist.

Its's so hard to believe that we won't see Paco live anymore. His death in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico is real shock to flamenco world.
