Benjamin Verdery is one of the classical guitar world's most foremost artists, who has performed worldwide at numerous festivals and competitions. He has recorded and performed with such artists as Andy Summers, Frederic Hand, William Coulter, Leo Kottke, Anthony Newman, Jessye Norman, Paco Peña, Hermann Prey and John Williams.
Benjamin has recorded over 15 albums, including collaboration with John Williams (John Williams Plays Vivaldi).
Benjamin is also prolific and innovative composer.
He's artistic Director of Art of the Guitar at the 92nd St Y (New York City) since 2006 and the head of the guitar department at Yale University’s School of Music.
