Steve Vai was the special guest for the legendary jazz guitarist Al Di Meola "Elegant Gypsy And More Electric" US Tour, April 26.
Here's how 2 great guitarists jam together at The Harmony Hut studio where where Steve spends spends most of his time these days for writing and recording.
They synchronized guitars for Meola's "Race With Devil On Spanish Highway" song from his 1977 album Elegant Gypsy.

I'm surprised how easy Stevie follows one of most advanced players on this Earth.

They are all incredibly skilled, so I guess technically it's not a problem. Only some musicians feel more jazz other rock and others classical. And usually they're not so great in what they are not used to play daily from years.

yeah definitely no dust on Steve Vai. The "..most on..earth" statement is a bit stale and difficult at best to measure. Think of it this way....it's like trying to say..." that's the most beautiful flower on the planet", there's way too many varieties of flower and way too many beautiful flowers to put one on top. But I do know what you mean.
