Unlike most aspiring classical guitarists, who often find inspiration in the works of Andrés Segovia and Julian Bream and other masters of classical guitar, Palmer spent his formative years listening and training music of Yngwie Malmsteen, Marty Friedman, Slash and Guns N’ Roses.
Many may think tha moving from metal and neoclassical shred to classical guitar is weird but for Matt it was a natural progression.
