Beautiful coriginal composition by Maurizio Colonna, one of the greatest Italian classical guitarists, a pupil of the famous Venezuelan guitarist Alirio Diaz. Maurizio started to play guitar very early, at the age of 5.
Now can you imagine this: at the age of 7 only Maurizio Colonna made his debut in the theatre as a soloist, playing solo guitar in Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez accompained by the Angelicum Chamber Orchestra of Milan in the presence of the Concierto’s composer Joaquin Rodrigo !!!
As a soloist Maurizio in the classical music scene since the early eighties. He participated in some television programs, recorded solo albums and film music.In 1995, he played for the President of the Italian Republic inauguration, played as the first classical guitarist on the stage at the Sanremo Festival in 1996. In 2001 has launched partnership with the Australian jazz guitarist, Frank Gambale and recorded 3 very successful acoustic duo albums.
Today Maurizio Colonna is considered to be one of the fines living classical guitarists in the world.
