This is a tribute to John Rogerson: world-leading dog trainer, luthier, pilot, philanthropist, superman and many other things.
He and Miya took me to walk the Great Wall of China and he climbed the extremely steep stairs all the way to the top like a teenager while carrying a heavy guitar case! I had no chance to keep up with him! Later that day, still out of breath!, I composed this piece and I played a rough sketch for John on his birthday the next morning.
