Incredible performance of this beautiful piece from a set of four tango compositions originally written by Astor Piazzolla for quintet with violin, piano, electric guitar, double bass and bandoneon. Each tango title relates to different seasons of the year in Buenos Aires. Verano Porteño (Summer) - written in 1965, Otoño Porteño (Autumn) - written in 1969, Primavera Porteña (Spring) - written in 1970 and finally Invierno Porteño (Winter) - written in 1970.
In video this is "Invierno Porteño, arranged for classical guitar by Sergio Assad, performed by extremely talented guitarist Antoine Boyer on his Ibanez electric guitar! Antoine is mainly jazz guitarist (gypsy jazz), but from some time he's also studying classical guitar with Gérard Abiton in Paris. In 2015 he won Montigny Classical Guitar Contest and has been nominated "révélation Guitare Classique 2016" by the french magazine Guitare Classique.
