CARisMA guitar Duo (Magdalena Kaltcheva and Carlo Corrieri) is more than just a classical guitar duo. By bringing together the old and the new elements of the contemporary and classical worlds, they change the way how classical guitar is played.
Magdalena said: "Our base has always been in classical music, but there are many more colours that we can add to the mix. We are inspired by so much more – everything from science to surrealism" .
By working closely with Nigel Stanford, a New Zealand composer, best known for his soundtrack for the movie TimeScapes, CARisMA guitar Duo have refined their sound and become pioneers in the classical and electronic music worlds.
