In these troubled times (mainly because of the dictator Nicolas Maduros ruling) many Venezuelan families are fleeing the country. At the moment (August 11th 2018) it is the largest emigration in Latin-America! Poor people flee to Colombia, Ecuador and other neighboring countries and the more wealthy people are moving to Florida, USA, as they have done since Hugo Chavez came to power. I feel strongly for the Venezuelan people since I have known and loved several Venezuelans. (Feliz cumpleaños Gladys) It is a beautiful country with beautiful people and culture. With this Venezuelan inspired guitar composition, I want to express my sorrow and support for all Venezuelans; in and outside of Venezuela. Viva Venezuela!
