Federico Moreno Torroba - Torija from Castillos de España

Torija from Castillos de España by Spanish composer and conductor Federico Moreno Torroba (1891 – 1982), performed by American guitarist Eric Cecil on a Thomas Fredholm guitar. Eric is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music for classical guitar. Eric has performed with many contemporary artists, sharing the stage with legendary Les Paul, appearing at major jazz and blues venues in New York and in Chicago.
Federico Moreno Torroba became one of the leading twentieth-century composers for classical guitar. Castillos de España ("Castles of Spain") suite for guitar was published in 2 parts (1970 and 1978) and contains Sigüenza, Manzanares el Real, Alba de Tormes, Montemayor, Alcañiz, Javier, Torija, Simancas, Zafra, Turégano, Redaba, Alcázar de Segovia, Olite and Calatrava.
