René Lacôte built guitars for many of the major guitar composers of the 19th century, including Ferdinand Sor, Dioniso Aguado, and Napoleon Coste. With kind permission from the owner, Matteo Mela, Drew Hendersson played one of Lacôte's last two instruments that survived. The piece is "Lob der Tränen" D.711by Franz Schubert, orifinally composed for piano.
