I was contacted by guitarist Jimmy Quango https://youtube.com/guitarquango that asked me if he and his friend Gaugolon https://soundcloud.com/gaugolon could have my permission to arrange my version of Stanley Myers "Cavatina" (the famous piece that was used in the 1978 movie "The Deer Hunter" written and directed by Michael Cimino). Here is my solo version https://youtu.be/mwvDon1_iKs that they used.
A bit doubtful, I agreed, and I have to say I don't regret it! They did an amazing job adding the orchestra and the ballerina-video to my solo recording! I am very proud to collaborate with them. They are fast, knowledgeable and true professionals! And, last but not least: very kind and nice guys!
Jimmy Quango says: "This piece is often told in connection with the war movie "The Deer Hunter". But we decided not to tell pictures of war and suffering, as this song was actually written by Stanley Myers as a love song." Please support them by subscribing.
Please listen to both Jimmys own guitar pieces and Gaugolons beautiful music via the links above!
Thank you Jimmy and Gaugolon for this! It was a pleasure and I am honored!
Hopefully we will be making more videos like this.

The guitar is great, orchestration almost perfect, with the exception of 10 seconds starting from 01:46. But that's only my subjective feeling. Generally big respect to guitarist and congrats to orchestration author for his amazing work.
