Billy Idol (real name William Michael Albert Broad) is best remembered as one of the first MTV stars for song such as "Dancing with Myself", "White Wedding", "Rebel Yell" and "Eyes Without a Face".
Born in Born in Stanmore, Middlesex, Idol moved to New York in 1981. His first band was Chelsea that he joined ub 1977 as a guitarist. Later he founded and performed with the Generation X band.
In 1990 Billy has had a serious motorcycle accident and couldn't star in Oliver Stone's film "The Doors" as it was planned. After accident Idol focused more on fatherhood and decided to quit drugs.
