The most influential heavy metal band fromed in1981 by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich. Metallica’s third album, Master of Puppets (1986), sold more than three million copies. 1991album "Metallica" (also known as The Black Album) sold more than 15 million copies and songs such as “Enter Sandman,” “The Unforgiven,” and “Sad but True” became mrtal music canon. Metallica has released ten studio albums, four live albums and 39 music videos. The band has won nine Grammy Awards from 23 nominations. In 2009 Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
