British rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964 is credited as the pioneer of a subgenre, called classical rock. They began international career as rhythm-and-blues group with the hit single “Go Now” (1964).After a change in band members the group released "Days of Future Passed" album in 1967 with two hits, “Tuesday Afternoon” and the signature song “Nights in White Satin.” Rch symphonic sound of The Moody Blues influenced groups such as Yes, Genesis, the Electric Light Orchestra, and Deep Purple. In 2018 The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
