An American guitarist, singer and songwriter, Brian Setzer was born April 10, 1959. As a teenager, Setzer drew inspiration from 50’s rockabilly, fused it with new wave punk, and created a worldwide phenomenon with his band Stray Cats.

In 1986, Setzer released his first solo album, The Knife Feels Like Justice, which marked a move away from rockabilly and towards a more mainstream rock sound.
In the mid-80s, Setzer was the lead guitarist for the touring version of Robert Plant's ensemble band.
Later he created the 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra, sold millions of albums, won three Grammys and toured the planet many times over.
