Berta Rojas - Barrios recital

In 2014 one of leading classical guitarist, Paraguayan native Berta Rojas was touring a lot, mainly presenting the music of Latin America, and compositions by Augustin Barrios Mangore in particular. She continued to familiarize the audience with the guitar music of Barrios in many countries of Latin America, such as Cuba, Haiti, Martinique, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador and native Paraguay. She performed solo, in duet with renown Cuban saxophonist and clarinetist Paquito D'Rivera and with orchestra.

Recently Berta was nominated the 2014 Latin Grammy Award, in the category of Best Classical Album recorded with Paquito D’Rivera.
